A TOAST and A PRAYER

A TOAST - tonight I channel Oghma, Practice your letters, slay your dragons, rhyme and sing. Swagger and swashbuckle. There will be no compromises falling off like autumn leaves. We are wolves in winter, hungry yet together we face the world. To my sky and my lost loves. My comrades dead yet never far from thought, my lost loves that are the shadow across my soul. The stars will always remember true love. SO shout the names of the lost to the stars, pour a bit of whiskey on the loving earth as sacrifice. I will not fight dwarves. I MUST FIGHT GIANTS. For this world, these men, these women, these gods, these norns, even love itself cannot love as much as I. Live, Love, Fight and be Free.

tic tac toe

when one wonders
in between blunders
over heart that thunders
the eyes one hexes

becoming one with the water
hynotized by slaughter
the face of phoebe's daughter
the confusion perplexes

what is it all for
souls plummet after soar
and poor becomes pour
dead as T-rex's

situation irritating
references dating
appetites need sating
in battles of sexes

there is something amiss
in denial of kiss
those eyes hold bliss
except maybe in Texas

across time's sea
she rhymes with me
set's my soul free
with oh's now exes

emotional content

first lesson in being a hero is to realize that you aren't. The hardest lesson I ever had to learn. Althought Gods I miss it.
SO be kind to ne another, live love fight and be free, cuz I'm the fricking sensei that's why. All joking aside. When I fight and teach sword. I have my students grap onto and focus through positive emotions. Joy, will, compassion, I use love, and I have been challenged by masters across the globe. My master used fear and cruelty, and I like to this in that small area of the art I surpassed him.

Diminish one, diminish all

If you diminish anyone you diminish everyone. When I was in Korea, I caught the lions share of racism being an foreigner. In Korea I was there for about three weeks and broke . I started walking and watched a gaggle of young Korean boys picking on an old lady. I challenged them in Broken Korean. They went into Tae Kwon Do stance. I wiped the floor with the biggest one. Till he yelled "Uncle stop". And I have in my experience stood up for thiee people. I scared the living hell out of three frat boys trying to put cgarettes out on a homeless person in Ne Orleans. By yeling in sensei voice " BE NICE" they were going to try something. I went into stance. A New Orleans cop showed up. Saw what I did and took the frat boys away. Once upon a time I was working o the Island and I had a similar experience, with an older white man complaining about people of color. When this preganant young black woman came on the train. The train was packed and the man refused to move his bags to give the woman a seat. SO I of course stood up, gave her my seat and promptly threw his stuff off the train at the next stop, the train pulled away as the rascist was gathering his stuff. There was applause followed by an older black lady staring up at me with a huge smile saying . " Your mama raised you well." So cheers to the heroes.
