Fire and Ice

As heart melt as snow in summer

Chills wind to sirocco kiss

The heart marches to discordant drummer

To love and be in solemn bliss

Of that fire inside ember burn

To rekindle ashen passion flame

Betweens lusts and less self-lies discern

A passion’s passion seeking blame

The distant coldness had to seize

The bright nocturnem of its ways

The petty death sepulcher’s the keys

As parting glancing blows betrays

Frozen fire bites and consumes

The steely blade’s sacrifice

When in a cage of bone entombs

The infinite war ‘tween fire and ice
